Copied over every EP01, FP01, GP01, SP01, all the numbers, from the old installation, into the new Steam installation. Open up in another window the Steam installation, which will be like "./Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/The Sims 4". For me that was "G:/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", so try looking around for an "Electronic Arts" folder, or an "Origin Games" folder till you find it. So to move all my DLC, I went to where my game was installed originally. Now if you open the instance of Origin that just got launched at the same time you can see a new The Sims 4 with the word STEAM on it. Log in with your account that has The Sims 4 with all your DLC on it. I launched it and it'll prompt you to connect an Origin account. They might, I mean we can hope! But not right now.Īnyway, downloaded it and everything. Uninstalled the Origin one now, so I just have the Steam install.ĭid you have to buy the base game?
